Who is House of Yoga?

Meet Joe Rocco Falco

Founder & Polymath

Before discovering yoga, Joe Falco grappled with life's big questions and doubted his potential. Yoga provided him with the sense of belonging, self-love, and confidence he needed to guide him towards self-realization. Ever since, Joe has committed himself to sharing the transformative practice of yoga with others.

Meet Nichole Falco

Founder & Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist

Before discovering yoga, Nichole’s life journey was marked by chaos, stress, and personal struggles, including loss and battling alcoholism. Yoga entered her life during her 12-step recovery journey, becoming a vital support. Today, she serves as a source of strength, and hope in both her 12-step community and at her studio, Mineral City Yoga, in Spruce Pine, NC.

Our Leadership Team

A force for good in our community

Our Leadership Team is composed of dedicated professionals, each an expert in fields critical to our mission, ranging from child development to senior leadership in nonprofit organizations.

These leaders have made a profoundly meaningful contribution to House of Yoga, dedicating countless hours to bringing mindfulness practices to local schools, resulting in thousands of hours of instruction that directly benefits our community.

The Students We Serve

The Bright Future We Forsee

The students we serve represent a diverse cross-section of our community, reflecting not only the present state of our culture but the future of humanity. We bring mindfulness practices to the spaces where they can make the most profound impact, creating positive change where it’s needed most.

Our Teachers

A force for good in our community

House of Yoga's Mindfulness Initiative is guided by a team of dedicated, experienced teachers who embody a true spirit of service and a deep passion for the practice. Every teacher is a certified yoga instructor (minimum 200-hour level) and has undergone our specialized Mindfulness Volunteer Teacher Training.

Our teachers bring more than just mindfulness classes—they share their unique stories and life experiences, fostering meaningful connections with students on a personal level.

Our Community Partners

The entire community united in purpose

House of Yoga is the nonprofit extension of our for-profit yoga community businesses. Our partners include yoga studios, local businesses, and teachers with personal brands, all of whom are committed to making a meaningful impact in their communities.

Our mission is to transform how mindfulness is integrated into the education system, and our Community Partners serve as the vital hubs where we engage with our supporters at every level—donors, volunteers, school advocates, and beyond.

Our MIssion

We empower school aged youth to connect with themselves through breath and mindfulness.
